Keeping it kind
Rules
A few simple guidelines that keep Famallama friendly, welcoming and safe for every Llama.
Before you play
Please read the rules below before you jump in.
These rules exist to keep Famallama fun, calm and safe for every Llama and their family. Staff will always use good judgement, so the spirit of a rule matters more than the letter of it.
If you're ever unsure whether something is okay, ask a member of staff first — type /helpop in chat any time you need us.
Section one
Chat & behavior.
How we talk to each other on Famallama.
Language
Speak English. Keep language clean, friendly and respectful — no swearing or bad language.
No bullying
Bullying, harassment, name-calling or hate speech will result in an immediate ban.
No personal info
Keep yourself safe. Do not share real names, addresses, phone numbers, emails or social media handles.
No spam
Do not spam chat or use ALL CAPS. If you feel frustrated, take a short break away from the keyboard.
No advertising
Do not share details, links or names of other servers in chat, signs or books.
Section two
In-game & building.
How we share the world together.
No griefing
If you did not build it, do not touch, break or open it. Always ask permission first.
Build space
Keep your individual builds at least 30 blocks away from other players. Build towns far away from others to allow room to grow.
Redstone & lag
Turn off redstone clocks before logging off. Keep clock circuits slow and limit hoppers to 30 max per build.
PvP
Player vs. player combat is only allowed in the designated PvP area (find the portal at Spawn). Always ask permission before fighting someone.
Mods & cheats
No X-ray, hacks or item dupe glitches. Only approved client mods, like Optifine, are allowed.
Skins & names
Usernames, skins, banners and capes must be family-friendly. No fully naked skins.
If a rule is broken
Consequences.
We always try to help first — punishment is a last resort.
1. Talk First
Staff will always talk to you first to figure out what happened.
2. Mute or Jail
If needed, staff may temporarily mute your chat or send you to a calm room to take a quiet break.
3. Removal
Severe or repeated rule-breaking may result in a temporary or permanent ban to keep the server safe.
